Every leaderboard shows two separate numbers — Points and RR. Your rank is decided by Points first. When two people have the same Points, whoever has the higher RR places ahead.
Points
Correct-answer score
Points come only from questions you answer correctly. Each question is worth a set number of marks — when you get it right, those marks are added to your Points total.
Wrong answers add 0 Points.
Skipped or unanswered questions add 0 Points.
Time does not change your Points — only correctness and marks matter.
RR
Response Rate
RR measures how quickly you answered correctly, based on time left on the clock. It is a tiebreaker — it does not add to your Points column, but it decides who ranks higher when Points are equal.
For each correct answer, we calculate how much of the question timer was still remaining when you submitted. Faster correct answers build a higher RR.
Per correct questiontime remaining ÷ time limitYour total RR is the sum across all correct answers.
How ranking works

Example
Two students both finish with 5 Points. Who ranks higher?

Rank
Student A

2.50
#1
Student B

2.10
#2
Student A answered correctly just as often, but faster on average — so a higher RR puts them ahead.

Quick answers
Do wrong answers lower my RR?
No. Only correct answers contribute to RR. Wrong or blank answers add nothing to Points or RR.
Is RR added to my Points?
No. They are separate columns. Points reflect correctness; RR reflects speed on correct answers.
Why don’t I see a score on the live leaderboard yet?
Scores appear as participants answer questions during the round. Submitted attempts show final Points and RR.
